Burning Tree West Transitional Living

Arizona's Sober Living and Transitional Living Programs

Students are immersed in the foundation of sobriety using a 12-step recovery process. They will begin working with a qualified sponsor selected for them by our staff. 12-Step immersion allows students to learn, speak, and incorporate the language and principles of recovery. Burning Tree West’s curriculum includes a strong academic component, individual and group therapy, life skills training, community service, effective time management, and work ethic coaching. Students can take a maximum of one online class during this phase.

Students continue all activities from Phase 1 along with an extensive educational component. They are coached on submitting applications, selecting appropriate courses, and communicating with professors. Students take a maximum of 12 college credits per semester, and are closely monitored to ensure success. Money management is taught through budgeting with a bi-weekly stipend for 3 months. Students are coached on writing resumes, pursuing careers, continuing their educational goals, as well as acquiring employment.

Transitional Living Services Offers Intensive Outpatient

Our transitional living program offer outpatient, which brings together adult men and women struggling with substance abuse disorder, in a clinical supportive setting. At Burning Tree West’s Transitional Living program, we discuss recovery by providing proven cognitive behavioral therapies and challenge dysfunctional behavior through the 12-steps and peer accountability. Our goal is to move each one of our clients to true abstinence based recovery.
